Meghan Hutten, LMFT, PMH-C

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor (PMH-C) with a passion for helping clients create and maintain meaningful, healthy relationships with themselves, their partners, and their children.

My style is direct and compassionate, providing a safe working environment for us to turn towards the vulnerable parts of your experience. I will help you identify, appreciate, and change the patterns that can keep you feeling trapped by offering guidance, new perspectives, and support in your efforts to feel better.

I utilize interventions from EFT, CBT, Gottman Method, and attachment theory to help you better understand the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and behavior as we work to develop skills for managing emotions, challenging intrusive thoughts, and healing from trauma.

While I work with a variety of clients and issues, I specialize in working with women struggling with pregnancy or postpartum emotional adjustment, recovering from traumatic birth or other interpersonal traumas, and navigating life transitions. I enjoy working with couples having issues with conflict or communication and those struggling with disconnection or loss of intimacy.

Additional problems I commonly work with include anxiety, self-worth and personal identity, grief/loss, and managing stress as a healthcare professional.
